First
Baptist Church has been
involved in helping build and support a sister church in
Drabiv, Ukraine. Condidtions are not good there and religion,
though accepted is not practiced by many. We have found
the children and teen eager to be with us "American christians"
and have seen many develop a purposein live that only Christ
can give. Even some of our translators have become christians
and continue to help us during our time there.
This last year we were able to help their church body
purchase a building in the downtown area for use as a church.
This year we will be able to use that facility as well
as the city Cultural Center we have used in past years.

One of our fundraisers this year
was Luau in a Box. The boxes were filled with festive
tropical things and sent to college students and servicemen.
Postage to the military is being provided by Q102 radio.
Stop in at
the Ukraine Coffee Bar at church Sunday Mornings. and
help our Ukraine
Team as well as we prepare to go over in July to
our sister church in Drabiv(Google Map),
Ukraine and help, encourage, and train in their faith.

Our Mother's

Scholarship Fund and will help make it possible for 2
girls, who live in Drabiv who have been coming to our
camps since they were little, to attend college. They
were
in the camp that Becky helped lead and have become Christ
